If you update the software of your e-bike, first uninstall the SpeedBox from the e-bike, update the software, reinstall the SpeedBox in the e-bike.
Basic tuning chip for your e-bike with Brose Specialized motor.
With this tuning chip you can completely deactivate the electric speed limiter. When you use it, your display shows an actual speed up to 18 km/h, then the speed display is fixed and shows the same value at higher speeds.
How does the SpeedBox 1.0 work?
The SpeedBox 1.0 for Brose is always active when mounted on an electric bike. No need to delay turning on and off.
Assembly
Anyone can do the fitting of a chip in an e-bike with simple tools! We've written detailed instructions and created videos so you can install it from the comfort of your own home. Removing the tuning chip is as easy as installing it. If you have some assembly problems, don't hesitate to contact us.
If you want to install a SpeedBox on a brand new bike, you need to ride that bike at least 1km before you start the chip for the first time.
