Detailed product description:

PearTune connects to the e-bike system with compatible and original connectors. The MSO does not need to be configured manually. The entire configuration and adaptation to the respective e-bike is done automatically. The MSO connects between the magnetic speed sensor and the motor unit and between the display and the motor unit. MSO is powered from the display connector. All measured values such as current speed, maximum speed, average speed, distance etc. are displayed correctly. The MSO can be activated or deactivated at any time while driving by pressing the LIGHT button. The device status is indicated by a specific element on the display, so the driver always knows whether the device is active or not. Thanks to original plugs, the e-bike tuning can be uninstalled without any signs and original Brose diagnosis (highest level) after removal no traces of the device can be found. The only difference is that from the moment you install it, you determine how fast you go, not your bike. The maximum speed is only limited by the cadence.

use
The MSO-BR2 can be activated or deactivated at any time by a single quick press of the light button (LIGHT). The original function of this button remains unchanged with a long press and the walk assist function can be used as before.

MSO-BR2

① Unscrew the screws and remove the plastic cover or plastic "cap" on the other side where the sprocket is located. Bikes without the severed plastic “cap” in the lower part will require the pedal arm to be removed using appropriate equipment. Necessary cables and connections are hidden under this cover.

② Disconnect the 5-pin connector between the display unit and the motor unit and the 2-pin connector between the tachometer sensor and the motor unit.

③ Connect the two matching plugs from the MSO to the motor unit instead of the original plugs and press the original, previously separated plugs according to the color coding (red cable side to the red/orange cable side, or downwards) firmly into the MSO cowling on the motor body) .

④ In order to keep the system waterproof, it is recommended to use the heat shrink tubing on the two MSO connectors that connect to the original connectors of the speedometer sensor and display unit. Optionally use a glue gun to secure the connectors in the motor body. Place the MSO in a convenient location and optionally secure the wiring with the cable ties. Reattach the plastic cover and pedal arm and the bike is ready to ride.
