PearTune MSO 4.0 BOSCH

Tax included. Shipping calculated at checkout.

PearTune connects to the e-bike system with compatible and original connectors. The MSO does not need to be configured manually. The entire configuration and adaptation to the respective e-bike is done automatically. The MSO is connected between the magnetic speed sensor and the motor unit and between the display and the motor unit. The MSO is powered via the display connector. All the data like current speed, max speed, average speed, distance, etc. are displayed correctly. The MSO can be activated or deactivated at any time while driving by pressing the WALK BUTTON or the +-+ button. The status of the device is indicated by a speed indicator that shows "9.9"/"2.5" for a short time after enabling/disabling PearTune, so that the driver always knows whether the device is active or not. Thanks to the original plugs, the tuning of the e-bike can be uninstalled without any signs, and the original Bosch diagnostics (top level) did not find any signs of the device after removal. The only difference is that from the moment you install it, you determine how fast you go, not your bike. The maximum speed is only limited by the cadence.

use of
The MSO can be activated or deactivated at any time with a short press on the WALK assist button or the +-+- buttons. The original function of the running button is retained with a long press, and the walker function can be used as before.

PT-MSO-B2:

① Remove the pedal arm with a suitable jig and the plastic center drive cover (with TORX screws) on the other side of the gearbox. All necessary cables and connections are hidden under this cover.

② Disconnect the 4-pin connector between the display unit and the motor unit (labeled as DISPLAY in the figure) and also the 2-pin connector between the speedometer sensor and the motor unit (labeled as SPEED SENSOR).

③ Plug the two corresponding plugs of the MSO into the motor unit instead of the original plugs, and the original plugs that were previously removed according to the color coding (red wire side to red wire side) into the MSO.

④ In order to keep the system waterproof, it is recommended to use heat shrink tubing on the two MSO connectors that connect to the original connectors of the speedometer sensor and the display unit. Place the MSO in the correct position and optionally secure the cables with the cable ties. Reattach the plastic cover and pedal arm and the bike is ready to ride.
